Q. My operating system is windows XP. My e-mail program is Outlook 2002. I've deleted Outlook Express from my computer. But whenever I try to send something either using XP's Send command or by hyperlink (for example sending this e-mail to you from The Seattle Times Web site) the e-mail comes up as an Outlook Express e-mail using my (very) old mailing address. How can I reset things so the default outgoing e-mail is from my Outlook 2002 program?
As for the software, your sound card may have come with a jukebox program that supports digitizing from LPs and tapes. If not, or if you want something with more features, there are a wide variety of tools available. As a start, you might want to take a look at E-soft's Audio Edit. You can download the product at: http://www.e-soft.co.uk/FreeDownload.htm.
